Flight School Niederöblarn - Training

Motorized Aircraft

Practical pilot training isn't tied to any fixed dates, meaning that students can schedule flight time essentially whenever they wish. Beginners (non glider pilots) should attend approximately 20 days of flight training at Alpine Flight School Niederöblarn prior to taking the pilot's test.

No landing fees are charged for aircraft of the Alpine Flight School, meaning you can train to perfection without any additional costs.

Gliders

In just three weeks, at Sportsarea Grimming - Alpine Flight School you will learn to fly a glider, after which you will be able to pilot a glider all on your own.

Dual-control training is conducted on powered gliders and on twin-seater towed gliders. Solo flights involve single-seater gliders.

Glider Aerobatics

If you are someone for whom it can never be spectacular enough, you also have the opportunity to enjoy first-hand some aerial "acrobatics" aboard a glider.

In order to participate in glider aerobatics training, you must hold a regular glider license. Training consists of several different components.

Radio Licenses

Depending on your needs, you can earn three different forms of radio certification, BFZ (restricted to domestic flights, German only), EFZ (English and German), und AFZ (also covers IFR).

MIM

Since the introduction of EASA Part FCL, this authorization can also be converted into an LAPL(S) with TMG endorsement, allowing you to fly Europe-wide. After completion of supplemental training, holders of an MIM license are also permitted to fly UL/A.

You can also earn various towing licenses at the Alpine Flight School: SEP or TMG incl. endorsements, MIM towing license, banner-towing license SEP, TMG, incl. endorsements.
